Entertaiment is a broad and flexible category that enables the imagination to run wild. It can be as simple as an individual selecting a video for private amusement; or as complex as a banquet arranged for two or thousands. It can also be as serious as a funeral or a religious festival; or as lighthearted as satire or a joke. Entertainment often hits on the points that the mind was evolved to react deeply to. This is true of social backstabbing and murders for example, but it can also be the case with other themes like space travel or the nature of love.
